Deals stop stalling in legal review because legal has full visibility throughout the process, not just at the end. 

    Even with a strong sales process in place, inefficiencies can creep in, especially during sales contract renewals. In the past at Docusign, an account executive could spend 30 minutes extracting agreement data buried in folders. That was time sellers could’ve been spending on tasks that drive revenue, like helping deliver high-touch, “white glove” experiences to customers. 

    Last year, we brought all sales agreements into Agreement Manager and had Iris run through them and extract key information. Now the sales team can find what they need faster using natural language queries and get back to selling. The result: up to a 20–25% improvement in deal cycle time.

    For our legal team working on commercial agreements, Docusign Iris creates consistency and saves time in negotiations. Legal only has to give core negotiation rules to the Docusign AI-Assisted Review tool within IAM. The tool analyzes the agreement under negotiation against a specific playbook and provides suggestions to bring the agreement into compliance with company standards.

    Procurement teams can now quickly surface discount and payment terms across their entire contract portfolio, giving them real leverage during renewal negotiations.
