Yesterday, Forbes revealed its second annual Cloud 100 – the definitive list of private cloud companies in the world. And on behalf of the entire DocuSign family, it’s my privilege to share that DocuSign has once again been named among the world’s best.

The announcement was made this morning. I was thrilled to share the news with the entire company just as soon as I heard, and to offer thanks to those who made it possible – our employees, our customers and our partners.

The selection process for the list was rigorous and the judging panel received hundreds of submissions. Ultimately, the top companies were selected based on four factors: market leadership, estimated valuation, operating metrics, and people and culture.

At DocuSign, we measure our success by our customers’ success. Awards like the Forbes Cloud 100 are positive indication that we’re doing the right things for our customers by continually driving innovation – whether that’s offering DocuSign Payments so our customers can sign and collect payment in one transaction; introducing the eHanko in Japan so customers can electronically affix their ‘chop’ to documents; or delivering our Standards-Based Signature suite that’s empowering customers to transact business from and within the EU under eIDAS.

I’m incredibly proud of the DocuSign team, their talent and the innovation they deliver. From the moment I joined the company in January, I’ve been inspired by the company’s mission to fundamentally improve the way individuals and organizations conduct business. So it’s a privilege to celebrate this honor with our 2,000+ employees worldwide.

I’d also like to take a moment to congratulate every company included in the 2017 Forbes Cloud 100 and the 20 Rising Stars. It’s a tremendous privilege to be recognized among the innovators who are moving technology and business forward.
