  • Allan Thygesen

    Chief Executive Officer
    Allan Thygesen

    Allan Thygesen is the CEO of Docusign, the company that brings agreements to life. Since joining the company in 2022, Allan has led Docusign to expand on its market leadership positions in e-signature and contract lifecycle management, and launched the SaaS category of Intelligent Agreement Management. Today, more than 1.6 million customers and more than a billion users in over 180 countries use Docusign products and solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplifying people's lives.

    Before he joined Docusign, Allan served as President, Americas & Global Partners at Google, leading the company’s $100 billion+ advertising business across North and South America. Prior to that role, he served as the President of Google Marketing Solutions, overseeing the global mid-market and small advertiser business, which serves millions of customers worldwide.

    Earlier in his career, Allan was a managing director and partner in the U.S. venture and growth funds of The Carlyle Group, where he led investments in startups in sectors including e-commerce, enterprise software, and more. He has also held executive positions in several public and private companies, including Wink Communications, Inc., an interactive television technology company, which he helped take public in 1999.

    Allan serves on the board of directors of global shipping leader A. P. Moller Maersk, and served as a Lecturer at Stanford's Graduate School of Business from 2014-2021. He serves as Vice Chair on the advisory boards of Stanford’s Institute for Economic Policy Research and Stanford’s Institute for Research in the Social Sciences. He received a master's degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen and an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated as an Arjay Miller scholar.

  • Blake Grayson

    Chief Financial Officer
    Blake Grayson

    As Docusign’s Chief Financial Officer, Blake Grayson leads the company’s finance team and is responsible for ensuring we deliver against our operating plan, identifying and executing on opportunities for improved efficiency and driving Docusign’s strategic roadmap.

    Blake joined Docusign in June 2023 from The Trade Desk, where he was Chief Financial Officer, with responsibilities that included controllership, tax, treasury, analysis, investor relations, facilities and financial operations at a highly successful, category-leading public software company. Prior to The Trade Desk, Blake spent more than a decade at Amazon, in various roles including Vice President, Finance for the International Consumer business, in which he served as the head of finance for businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He also held finance leadership roles at Amazon in their Marketplace, Consumables, and Amazon Web Services businesses. Before that, Blake held roles at Washington Mutual/JP Morgan Chase where he led Payments finance and the FP&A functions.

    Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

  • Paula Hansen

    President and Chief Revenue Officer
    Paula Hansen

    Paula Hansen is the President and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Docusign, responsible for leading the global Sales & Partnerships organization, which includes worldwide sales, solutions consulting, and partners. With more than 25 years of leadership experience with high-growth market expansion, partner ecosystems, marketing, professional services, and customer success, she is passionate about customer experience and the role that data plays in driving meaningful business impact. Paula joined Docusign in August 2024 from Alteryx, where she served as President and Chief Revenue Officer of the $1B revenue company that delivers data-driven analytics and AI to empower faster, more insightful, and more confident decisions. Prior to Alteryx, she previously served as CRO of SAP Customer Experience, and held various leadership roles at Cisco during her nineteen years with the company.

    Paula lives with her family in San Francisco, and serves on the board of directors for Darktrace plc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

  • Robert Chatwani

    President and General Manager, Growth
    Robert Chatwani

    As President and General Manager, Growth, Robert Chatwani leads Docusign’s Marketing & Growth organization to scale its digital strategy across marketing, product, technology and sales. Robert is responsible for Docusign's product-led growth and execution, encompassing growth product and engineering teams, related data analytics, and all marketing and operations teams focused on digital expansion, demand generation and lead qualification. He also leads all Chief Marketing Officer functions, including product marketing, field marketing, communications and public relations, content, creative and brand strategy.

    Before joining Docusign, Robert was CMO of Atlassian, a pioneer in product-led growth, and led global teams across marketing, brand, communications and data science. Prior to that, Robert was Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer for social e-commerce platform Spring. He also spent more than a decade at eBay, ending his tenure as Chief Marketing Officer for North America where his teams supported $35 billion in trading volume.

    Robert is the 2023 American Heart Association Bay Area Heart Walk Chair and is a West Coast Board Member at the American India Foundation. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics and marketing from DePaul University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He also studied at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan.

  • Anwar Akram

    Chief Operating Officer
    Anwar Akram

    Anwar Akram has served as Docusign’s Chief Operating Officer since January 2023. In his role as COO he leads the company’s Strategy & Operations organization responsible for championing the development of Docusign’s business strategy, driving transformation of operations, leading companywide and cross-functional planning, delivering business critical insights, and helping evolve early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives.

    Most recently, Anwar spent more than a decade at Google where he served as VP of Operational Effectiveness leading cross-functional initiatives to improve operational productivity. These efforts resulted in improved adoption of best practices, streamlined procurement, and extended workforce productivity. In addition, his Google tenure included leadership roles across a wide range of organizations and business units, including sales, support, strategy and operations. Prior to Google, Anwar also held executive and leadership roles at Microsoft and McKinsey & Company.

    Anwar received an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston.

  • Jennifer Christie

    Chief People Officer
    Jennifer Christie

    Jennifer Christie serves as Chief People Officer at Docusign where she oversees the global human resource function including the company’s Workplace Experience, Employee Relations and more. She also plays an active role in the product and go to market strategy for its HR vertical.

    Most recently, Jennifer served as Chief People Officer at Bolt, a fintech startup, where she oversaw the HR, Internal Communications, and Real Estate and Workplace teams, and was responsible for Bolt’s Conscious Culture organization focused on transforming corporate culture and defining the future of work. Prior to Bolt, Jennifer was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Twitter where she led the global People as well as the Real Estate and Workplace teams, and worked with the executive team and the board of directors to support the strategic direction of the company.

    Jennifer has also held senior roles at American Express including SVP of HR for the Global Consumer Services Group, VP and HR Business Partner for Enterprise Growth Group and Chief Diversity Officer and VP, Global Executive Recruitment. Prior, she was a consultant at a leading executive search firm and also spent two years as a Special Assistant to the President of the United States in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel.

    Jennifer has served as a member of the board of directors for three nonprofit organizations: Special Love, Prevent Cancer Foundation, and Compass Family Services. She received a master’s degree in criminal justice from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

  • Sagnik Nandy

    Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, Engineering
    Sagnik Nandy

    Sagnik Nandy is the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering at Docusign responsible for engineering, cloud operations, and technology strategy that enables customers globally to run their organizations on Docusign.

    Most recently, Sagnik served as the President and Chief Development Officer for Workforce Identity at Okta where led engineering development and operations, product management, and design and user research. Earlier, he joined Okta as their CTO, overseeing the engineering and business technology arms of the company.

    Prior to Okta, Sagnik served as the Vice President of Engineering at Google where he oversaw several critical components of Google’s core advertising business, the backbone of the company’s growth and revenue. During his 15 years at Google, Sagnik also helped build Google’s Measurement and Analytics offerings and took several products from inception to becoming market leaders.

    Sagnik has a bachelor’s degree from the BITS, Pilani (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani) and a Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from UC San Diego.

  • Shanthi Iyer

    Chief Information Officer
    Shanthi Iyer

    Shanthi Iyer currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Docusign. Prior, Shanthi started at Cisco in 1997 as an Oracle DBA, working across the company in multiple infrastructure, services, commerce, sales and supply chain roles—ultimately becoming the chief data officer and SVP of the Data & Analytics group. Before Cisco, she worked at Applied Materials in Santa Clara and MashreqBank in Dubai.

    Iyer has been recognized by the Silicon Valley YWCA Tribute to Women and received multiple leadership awards from the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. She holds a B.S. in Math from the University of Madras and a diploma in Computer Science from the National Institute of Information Technology in Chennai. Shanthi also completed MIT’s Supply Chain Leadership Program and the Executive Data Science Program from Northwestern University.

  • Dmitri Krakovsky

    Chief Product Officer
    Dmitri Krakovsky

    Dmitri Krakovsky is Chief Product Officer at Docusign, where he oversees product, user experience, user research and data science. He is passionate about building intuitive, intelligent and useful enterprise software. Dmitri joined Docusign in June 2023 from Unit4 where he led the development of its ERP product suite as Chief Product Officer. Prior to Unit4, he was a Vice President of Products at Google Cloud where he worked on applications, platforms and machine learning-powered data services. Dmitri was also Chief Product Officer at SuccessFactors where he led the company through growth, NYSE listing and acquisition by SAP. Earlier in his career, he led advertiser products at Yahoo, Quickbooks product management at Intuit, and held various positions at a number of startups.

    Dmitri received an MBA from Harvard and a master’s and bachelor’s degrees in computer science from New York University.

  • Jim Shaughnessy

    Chief Legal Officer
    Jim Shaughnessy

    Jim Shaughnessy is Chief Legal Officer for Docusign where he is responsible for building, leading and overseeing legal affairs, government relations and risk management for the company.

    Jim brings over 25 years of experience representing technology companies across public policy and legal affairs. Prior to Docusign, he spent 10 years at Workday serving in various roles including General Counsel and Senior Advisor for Corporate Affairs where he was responsible for policy and public affairs and the company’s corporate tech-for-good initiatives. Before that, Jim held General Counsel roles at Orbitz, Lenovo, PeopleSoft, and was Deputy General Counsel at Hewlett Packard. He is also a director on the boards of BSA and Wild Aid.

    Jim holds a Juris Doctor degree and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University.

  • James Beer

    Chairman of the Board, Docusign Former CFO, Atlassian Corporation

    James Beer has served on our Board since August 2020, and as our Board Chair since February 2026. From February 2018 to June 2022, Mr. Beer served as Chief Financial Officer of Atlassian Corporation Plc, an enterprise software company. From September 2013 to December 2017, Mr. Beer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McKesson Corporation, a healthcare services and information technology company. Prior to McKesson Corporation, Mr. Beer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Symantec Corporation, now known as Gen Digital, a cybersecurity company, where he managed the worldwide finance organization. Prior to his work at Symantec, Mr. Beer served as Chief Financial Officer of AMR Corp. and American Airlines Group Inc., AMR’s principal subsidiary.

    Mr. Beer currently serves on the board of directors of Alaska Air Group, parent company of Alaska Airlines, and Zscaler, Inc., a cloud security company. He also serves as a director of a privately-held enterprise software company, Redis Inc., since July 2025. Mr. Beer previously served on the board of directors of ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a network security software company. Mr. Beer holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

  • Teresa Briggs

    Former Vice Chair & West Region Managing Partner, Deloitte LLP

    Teresa Briggs has served on our Board since May 2020. From June 2013 to August 2019, Ms. Briggs served as Vice Chair & West Region Managing Partner of Deloitte LLP and from June 2011 to August 2019 as Managing Partner, San Francisco. Ms. Briggs also served as an adjunct member of Deloitte’s Center for Board Effectiveness.

    Ms. Briggs currently serves on the boards of directors of ServiceNow, Inc., a provider of software-as-a-service for managing businesses’ digital workflows; Snowflake Inc., a cloud-based data management company; Warby Parker Inc., an eyeglasses brand company; and United Talent Agency, a global talent, sports and entertainment company. Ms. Briggs previously served on the boards of directors of VG Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company and Deloitte USA LLP. Ms. Briggs is a CPA and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management.

  • Cain Hayes

    Former CEO, Point32Health

    Cain A. Hayes has served on our Board since December 2020. From July 2021 to October 2024, Mr. Hayes served as Chief Executive Officer of Point32Health, a leading health and well-being organization that includes Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan. From November 2018 to June 2021, Mr. Hayes served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Health Plan, a leading managed care organization. From April 2017 to November 2018, Mr. Hayes served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Health Business for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, a Minnesota health plan organization.

    From November 2010 to March 2017, Mr. Hayes held a variety of senior executive leadership roles at Aetna, a managed care company, including President of National Accounts. Prior to Aetna, Mr. Hayes held senior executive roles at Nationwide Insurance and Principal Financial Group. Mr. Hayes currently serves on the board of directors of Encompass Health Corp. Mr. Hayes holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Drake University, and an M.B.A. from Webster University. In addition, he has earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

  • Blake J. Irving

    Former Director and CEO, GoDaddy

    Blake J. Irving has served on our Board since August 2018. From January 2013 to January 2018, Mr. Irving served as the Chief Executive Officer of GoDaddy, Inc., a domain registrar and web hosting company. Mr. Irving previously served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Yahoo! Inc., a web services provider; Professor in the M.B.A. program at Pepperdine University; and in various senior and management roles at Microsoft Corporation, a multinational technology company, including most recently as Corporate Vice President of the Windows Live Platform Group.

    Mr. Irving currently serves on the boards of directors of Autodesk Inc., a software company, and ZipRecruiter, Inc. Mr. Irving previously served on the board of directors of GoDaddy Inc. Mr. Irving holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from San Diego State University and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

  • Anna Marrs

    Group President, American Express

    Anna Marrs has served on our Board since June 2023. Ms. Marrs currently serves as Group President, Global Merchant and Network Services at American Express. Prior to this role, Ms. Marrs held positions of increasing responsibility at American Express, including Group President of Global Commercial Services and Credit & Fraud Risk. Since September 2018, Ms. Marrs has also served as a member of American Express's Executive Committee.

    Prior to American Express, Ms. Marrs served as Regional CEO for Standard Chartered's ASEAN and South Asia groups. Prior to Standard Chartered, Ms. Marrs was a partner in McKinsey & Company's Banking Practice based in London. Ms. Marrs holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from London Business School.

  • Brian Roberts

    General Partner, Andreessen Horowitz

    Brian Roberts has served on our Board since March 2026. Mr. Roberts currently serves as a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz since October 2024. Mr. Roberts previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Splunk, Inc., an enterprise software company, from January 2023 to September 2024. Prior to joining Splunk, Mr. Roberts served as Chief Financial Officer of Ozone Networks, Inc. (d/b/a OpenSea), a non-fungible token marketplace, from 2021 to 2022.

    Prior to this role, Mr. Roberts served as Chief Financial Officer of Lyft, Inc., a transportation platform company, from 2014 to 2021 and served as its Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Corporate Development in 2014. Prior to Lyft, Mr. Roberts held senior corporate development, strategy, and finance roles at Walmart, Evercore, Microsoft and Inktomi Corporation. Mr. Roberts holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

  • Mike Rosenbaum

    CEO, Guidewire Software, Inc.

    Mike Rosenbaum has served on our Board since September 2025. Since August 2019, Mr. Rosenbaum has served as the Chief Executive Officer, and member of the board of Guidewire Software, Inc. Prior to joining Guidewire, Mr. Rosenbaum was EVP Product at Salesforce.com, Inc., with responsibility for vision, strategy, product management, customer success and adoption from January 2016 to July 2019. Since joining Salesforce in 2005, Mr. Rosenbaum held several leadership positions and drove many of Salesforce’s product achievements.

    Prior to joining Salesforce, Mr. Rosenbaum held various technology and marketing roles at Siebel Systems from 2002 to 2005 and served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine officer from 1994 to 1999. Mr. Rosenbaum holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

  • Enrique T. Salem

    Partner and Managing Director, Bain Capital Ventures

    Enrique Salem has served on our Board since August 2013. Since July 2014, Mr. Salem has been a Partner at Bain Capital Ventures, a venture capital firm. Prior to Bain Capital, Mr. Salem served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, at Symantec Corp, now known as Gen Digital, Inc., a cybersecurity company.

    Mr. Salem previously served on the boards of directors of Atlassian Corporation Plc, an enterprise software company; Rubrik, Inc., a data security and cloud data management company; ForeScout Technologies, Inc., a network security software company; and FireEye, Inc., an enterprise cybersecurity company. Mr. Salem holds an A.B. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.

  • Peter Solvik

    Managing Director, Jackson Square Ventures

    Peter Solvik has served on our Board since March 2006. Since 2011, Mr. Solvik has been a Managing Director at Jackson Square Ventures, a venture capital firm. Since 2002, Mr. Solvik has been a Managing Director at Sigma Partners, a venture capital firm. Previously, Mr. Solvik served as Senior Vice President at Cisco Systems, Inc., an information technology and networking company.

    Mr. Solvik holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Gies College of Business.

  • Maggie Wilderotter

    Former Chairman of the Board, Docusign Chairman and CEO, Wilderotter Vineyard

    Maggie Wilderotter has served on our Board since March 2018, and served as Board Chair from January 2019 to January 2026. From June 2022 to October 2022, Ms. Wilderotter served as our interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Since August 2016, Ms. Wilderotter has been co-owner of Wilderotter Vineyards. She previously served in various senior and management roles at Frontier Communications Corp., a telecommunications company, including as President and Chief Executive Officer.

    Ms. Wilderotter currently serves on the public board of directors of Costco Wholesale Corp., a wholesale retailer. Ms. Wilderotter previously served on the boards of directors of Fortinet, Inc., a cybersecurity company; Sana Biotechnologies, a cell therapy company; Lyft, Inc., a ride-sharing service company; Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co., a technology company; Frontier Communications Corp.; Xerox Corp; DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc., an entertainment company; The Procter & Gamble Company, a consumer products company; Juno Therapeutics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company; and Cadence Design Systems, an electronic design automation software and engineering services company. Ms. Wilderotter holds a B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
