Developer success
You fully embraced the Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform to embed complex agreement logic directly into your systems. Whether it was automating multi-stage onboarding, streamlining complex financial compliance checks, or connecting agreement data to AI-powered analytics pipelines, you showed the world how to move business forward smarter and faster.
Here are a few standout projects that captured the creativity and momentum of the developer community in 2025:
NeuraFlash unlocks IAM power: NeuraFlash built a Docusign extension app with a MuleSoft accelerator that connects IAM workflows to external systems and helped streamline their agreement process.
LaborEdge streamlines healthcare compliance: LaborEdge built a solution using Docusign APIs to help healthcare companies manage compliance and regulatory agreements more effectively.
This Dot Labs levels up workflows with monday.com: This Dot Labs built integrations that connect Docusign to project management tools like monday.com, enabling developers to create automated workflows that keep agreement data aligned with execution.
Docusign Hackathon: Unlocked
The 2025 Docusign Hackathon: Unlocked brought developers together to create innovative, real-world agreement solutions powered by Docusign APIs, workflows, and AI capabilities. Out of nearly 1,450 participants, the winning projects demonstrated the potential within the Docusign developer ecosystem:
“AI-ify Your World” winner: Agreefast for Docusign: Simplified contract management with AI-powered obligation tracking, compliance scoring, and an envelope chatbot.
“Hack-for-Good” winner: WolfieSign: Helped nonprofits manage agreements using OpenAI-powered document generation and the eSignature API.
“Making the Impossible…Possible” winner: ClariSign: Improved accessibility for neurodivergent and dyslexic users with AI summaries, text to speech, and custom viewing modes.
Milestone achieved: One million outbound API requests
In 2025, the Docusign platform processed its one millionth outbound API request, marking a significant milestone in how developers are extending IAM into real-world systems. This achievement reflects a growing and highly engaged developer community—one that’s confidently pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with IAM.
We celebrate every independent software vendor (ISV), system integrator (SI), and corporate developer who built these powerful, connected experiences. Thank you for accelerating product innovation and proving the immense potential of the Docusign ecosystem. Specific partners instrumental in this success include Quik!, This Dot Labs, Emailable, NeuraFlash, TrustCloud, Sandbox Banking, and Prisidio.
Engagement, education, and global reach
In 2025, developers connected, learned, and collaborated across events and resources designed to support real-world building on IAM. From hands-on education to global conversations, the community came together to share ideas, explore what’s next, and learn directly from the teams shaping the platform.
Discover 2025
Discover 2025 brought builders together for hands-on learning and real conversations about what’s next. Developers participated in live demos, workshops, and discussions with engineering and product leaders, exploring new capabilities, sharing what they’re building, and learning how others are applying IAM across industries. The event highlighted a wide range of community-built solutions, from guided agreement workflows to AI-driven contract operations.
“It was an incredible experience diving deep into the future of Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM)…”

What we shipped in 2025
In 2025, our developer releases centered on helping teams build smarter, automate faster, and unlock agreement data inside their applications.
Accelerating developer efficiency
New IAM SDKs for C#, Java, and TypeScript, along with AI-native tooling such as the Docusign MCP Server and a Developer AI Assistant for VS Code, reduced friction and sped up development. The 1FE micro-frontend framework enabled developers to build modular, embedded Docusign experiences that integrate with their applications, while maintaining a consistent platform foundation.
End-to-end workflow automation
The Maestro API entered general availability (GA), enabling developers to programmatically trigger and embed complete agreement workflows within their systems. Extension apps expanded, with GA support for file input/output extensions, private extension apps, and the Connected Fields API and extension, allowing developers to validate data in real time, move files across systems, and extend workflows with custom logic.
Agreement data as a platform
The Navigator API entered limited availability (LA), delivering structured access to agreement data. Navigator-related Connect events became GA, enabling event-driven integrations across the agreement lifecycle.
The next chapter: The year of the workflow
2026 is shaping up to be the year of the workflow, where AI moves from experimentation to impact. Developers will have new opportunities to build intelligent, end-to-end agreement workflows that connect more deeply with business systems and adapt to how teams actually work. To achieve this, the platform is evolving toward a more intelligent, agent-assisted experience that reduces manual work, adapts to context, and helps teams move faster with greater confidence.
Unified design
A more unified approach to agreement workflows brings intake, review, and routing into a single, cooperative experience. For builders, this creates a clearer foundation for orchestration, making it easier to design, extend, and automate workflows that span teams and systems.
Intelligence by default
Agreements are becoming active participants in business workflows. Earlier understanding, smarter routing, and deeper system connections enable developers to build solutions that reduce redundancy, minimize configuration, and adapt to the structure and intent of each agreement.
Insight on demand
Finding the right agreement will no longer depend on rigid filters or exact queries, but instead on natural, conversational interactions that surface relevant results quickly. As agreement intelligence becomes more accessible, developers can unlock new ways to surface insights, trigger actions, and integrate agreement data into the tools teams already use.
Join us in building the future of intelligent agreements
As we head into 2026, a new generation of workflow-driven agreement solutions is taking shape, and developers are leading the way. Thanks to everyone in the community who built, shared, and experimented this year. The future of agreements is open, intelligent, and community-driven, and we’re excited to see how you continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
We’d love to see you stay engaged by joining Developer Community discussions, following the Developer Blog and roadmap, and sharing feedback on what’s next, or jump in now by exploring Maestro, Navigator, and extension apps in your sandbox environment today.
