Developer Spotlight: Nyasha-Harmony Gutsa, Procore

Nyasha-Harmony Gutsa is a product manager at Procore, focused on financial tools. He is responsible for overseeing the contracts, billings, and payments tools in Procore as well as the DocuSign integration.

Procore enables its users to sign any construction-related document, including contracts and change orders, eliminating the need for courier services. What used to take weeks now takes a few minutes to complete. Procore's DocuSign integration was so successful that they had customers complete multi-million dollar contracts and change orders in minutes.

Nyasha was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and began his construction career as a Project Accountant at a Manhattan construction company. Prior to Procore, he spent 2.5 years working as a Sr. Financial Analyst for a large property developer in New York and 2.5 years as a Corporate Controller for an advertising startup.

Nyasha is the co-founder of PiLAB Africa, a nonprofit organization helping orphans at New Jerusalem Children's Home in Johannesburg, South Africa learn how to code using Raspberry Pi's. He lives in Santa Barbara, CA and in his spare time he flies his aircraft as a flight instructor and professional ferry pilot delivering small aircraft anywhere around the world. He also volunteers for Aeromedicos, a not-for-profit group of medical doctors that fly to parts of Mexico on special weekend missions to provide specialist medical assistance. When he is not flying, Nyasha enjoys scuba diving around the world.
