Developer Spotlight: Charlotte Tao, Trusli

Spotlight Developer, Charlotte Tao

Charlotte Tao, the co-founder and technical lead at Trusli, leverages her expertise in machine learning to drive innovation in legal tech. In the early stages of her career, Charlotte worked as a data scientist at Salesforce and Uber, where she implemented multiple automated analytics pipelines. She then transitioned to product management in the self-driving car industry at Zoox and Lyft, leading development in simulation platforms, high-definition mapping, and computer vision.

Leveraging her expertise in machine learning, Charlotte co-founded Trusli, a contract automation platform that uses large language model technology to serve enterprise customers dealing with repetitive contract reviews, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs). The platform empowers in-house legal teams with AI-driven tools to build and enforce legal playbooks, enabling partner teams to self-serve efficiently. A key feature of Trusli is its integration with DocuSign, which allows users to close contracts with e-signature capabilities directly within the Trusli platform.

The integration with DocuSign was made easy for Charlotte's team thanks to DocuSign's detailed API documentation and flexible endpoints. This integration allows users to send out customized signature requests to multiple parties, manage signer information, and track signature statuses efficiently. The successful integration has received positive feedback from users, with the DocuSign partnership team providing exceptional support throughout the process.
