Contracts and consent forms are pervasive in customer interactions and transactions, making agreement technology a ripe starting point for ISVs. Automated and user-friendly agreement capabilities also align with the large percentage of executives who are making CX a priority: 40% are adding or improving digital experiences, and 36% are leveraging emerging technologies for customers to engage with. This comes at the same time that those who are looking to reduce costs are turning to automation to raise employee productivity (36%) and streamline internal workflow and processes (34%).
Tech leaders acknowledge that they face significant challenges in achieving business objectives. Limited resources are a top pain point for 29% of respondents, which can have significant consequences for innovation and growth.

Improving data and analytics technology is the leading investment priority (32%), followed by AI and genAI tools for business applications (22%).
When it comes to how they will allocate their budgets, tech executives expect that some of their biggest spend increases will be on data and information management spending (75%), business insights and analytics (74%), digital workplaces (69%) and AI (69%). With data privacy and information security risks a looming challenge, security is also garnering a big chunk of spending, with 77% of respondents expecting increased investment in security and risk management technologies.
Solutions won’t necessarily come from within the organizations, as tech executives will look to third-party providers to help them meet objectives. For example, of those planning to spend with third-party providers over the coming 12 months, 79% cited increased spending on application modernization and cloud migration services.
