What do you think of when it comes to Fall? Leaves changing colors, Halloween, pumpkins or maybe even apple pie? For us, Fall means new feature innovations! Over the past few months, we have been hard at work to deliver to you the DocuSign Fall ‘17 Release. It’s filled to the brim with customer asks we’ve heard directly from you at webinars, events, and more. Plus, we’re continuing to invest in providing exceptional user experience, empowering key industries, and being responsive to our customers & partners. Let’s go into a little more detail as to what we mean…
Providing Exceptional User Experience
Back in May, at our customer conference Momentum, we unveiled Comments. This new feature was designed to better help YOU collaborate with your signers and customers. Today, when DocuSign users have questions about an agreement, they more often than not connect via phone, email, or even text, and these communications are far from secure, difficult to track and, as a result, the transactions can feel disjointed. With Comments, signers and senders can collaborate by directly adding contextual comments to DocuSign documents inside the envelope. Take advantage of this functionality mid-October!
About a year ago, we heard from you that you’d like to embed DocuSign’s features into your own app to streamline the signing experiencing. But that wasn’t all — you also wanted to be able to do that offline. With this release, we are happy to deliver the Native iOS Offline Templates SDK to you. Whether you’re in the middle of a field or in an airline with connectivity that may unreliable or nonexistent, you can still complete your mission critical transactions from 10,000 feet or at sea-level.
We also recently revealed exciting news for U.S. government partners and customers: DocuSign was announced in August as the only dedicated cloud-based digital signature and Digital Transaction Management provider listed directly in the FedRAMP marketplace.
This opens doors for U.S. government agencies to fully digitize their most important paper processes to accelerate mission delivery and improve the experience for citizens, businesses, and other agencies. With such a highly regulated industry, we know security and compliance are immensely important. Agencies can choose with confidence from DocuSign’s portfolio of recipient authentication methods, including SSO for Agency employees and one time passcode for citizens, to meet U.S. government’s eAuthentication guidelines.
Delivering for Customers & Partners
Earlier this year we launched DocuSign Payments, because we found that a large percentage of agreements are followed by a need to exchange payments. A lightbulb went off for us — we knew this process could be streamlined.
Now with DocuSign Payments, businesses can get paid instantly when they collect signatures, see far fewer errors, and provide a better experience to their customers. With this release, we now support payment gateway connections with Stripe and Authorize.Net (for U.S., U.K., Canada, & Australia), Braintree (for U.S. and U.K only), and bank transfer through ACH (for U.S. only). And with our Stripe integration, U.S. customers can now choose which payment method(s) their signers are allowed to pay with. The collecting payment possibilities are endless!
