Product Innovation and Collaboration
We’re proud to have been building apps for the Microsoft ecosystem for many years. DocuSign is available as a universal app for Windows, and we have specific product integrations and applications for Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Office 365. We’ve also recently worked with Microsoft to build an integration with the new Flow platform as well. These new integrations allow customers to embed eSignature capabilities into new document collaboration and workflow scenarios. This partnership enables us to work closely with Microsoft to be on the forefront of their product roadmaps.
DocuSign has more than 11,000 active businesses using our connectors across these Microsoft technologies. DocuSign also recently completed FedRAMP Authorization which many SharePoint customers in the Public Sector have been waiting for as they continue their digital transformation journey. Some of our joint customers that are realizing an ROI today from the DocuSign for Microsoft connectors include the Special Olympics, Restaurant Services Inc., Cancer Research and Biostatistics, Current Builders, Expedia CruiseShipCenters, and more.
Driving Customer Value Together
DocuSign and Microsoft are able to bring eSignature solutions to customers through product integrations, Microsoft marketplaces, and both our channels. “Microsoft remains one of DocuSign’s most strategic partnerships. We are excited to extend our relationship and further expand our integrated offerings across the Microsoft technology stack to drive more value in all customer segments and target industries. Our partnership with Microsoft helps us to bring joint cloud offerings to customers around the globe,” Eric Fleishman, Chief Architect and VP of Platform Engineering at DocuSign.
As mentioned earlier this year, DocuSign is also partnering closely with Microsoft to use Microsoft Azure as it expands the DocuSign platform and service internationally. DocuSign CEO Dan Springer said at the time: “in choosing Microsoft Azure we have access to a highly secure, global cloud that offers data redundancy in multiple in-country locations for business continuity – something that’s an absolute prerequisite for us given we operate a high-availability business.”
“We’re excited that DocuSign continues to invest in Microsoft platforms. With Flow, DocuSign saw the benefit in building a connector on the Microsoft business app platform as a way to drive value for their users around custom workflows. With over 150 first and third-party services on the Microsoft platform, both our users can benefit from existing templates or easily create new custom Flows. The recent Flow integrations with SharePoint and OneDrive for Business help DocuSign provide great consistent experiences for our customers as they automate interactions among services like DocuSign, notifications and data.” said Frank Weigel, Principal Director of Program Management, Azure Business Applications.
DocuSign Available via Microsoft AppSource
In addition to product innovation, DocuSign has partnered with Microsoft to bring DocuSign to market in other innovative ways. For example, DocuSign was an early ISV partner that participated in the launch of Microsoft’s AppSource marketplace. Microsoft shared some of our early successes of AppSource here.
