Docusign delivers on AI at the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™
The Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™ hit the Gold Coast in September, and Docusign was there to deliver two sessions packed with actionable strategies on how to realise real business value from AI.
How can organisations embrace the full potential of AI without exposing themselves to risk? Where does the hidden value with AI lie? What should you be doing to support your employees as they embark on the journey of AI-powered transformation?
Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™ was abuzz with questions like these, as attendees sought answers to the big challenges they face on the path to AI adoption.
We also proudly presented two well-attended speaking sessions during the three-day conference. One of these was led by our VP of Applications Engineering, Babu Kesavan, on the topic “AI in the hands of every employee to drive meaningful impact.”
During this session, Babu showed attendees how every employee can be empowered with the tools and confidence to drive innovation, efficiency, and real business value across the organisation. He shared practical strategies to roll out AI responsibly, engage people across the company, and build the skills they need to use it confidently.
According to Babu, every organisation should focus on four key pillars in building a robust framework for AI adoption. These include:
AI process and governance At the outset, establishing a robust AI process and governance framework is essential. This involves setting clear guidelines and policies to ensure that AI initiatives align with your goals and ethical standards, and has risk management and compliance built in. During this stage, bring employees on board in exploring potential use cases and assessing their feasibility.
AI security and trust Security and trust are paramount when implementing AI. Embed security throughout the model development lifecycle, and establish AI reference architectures and security baselines. Assess third-party risks when using vendor tools, and don’t be afraid to put AI to work to help detect and respond to attacks.
Training and enablement To maximise the success of your AI investments, you need to bring every employee along for the ride. Offer role-based, platform-specific training that employees can complete at their own pace, and foster a continuous learning culture. This will all help to upskill your employees so they can all leverage AI to its full potential.
Assemble the building blocks for AI agents Lay strong foundations for the deployment of enterprise-scale AI agents that can drive significant business value. This involves a robust LLM infrastructure, an agent framework, system and data integration, and ongoing management.
By investing in governance, security, enablement, and infrastructure, organisations can adopt AI with confidence. Now is the time to turn these pillars into action and help every employee realise the value of AI in their day-to-day work.
