Unveiling the Docusign Agreement Cloud and Product Release


A new suite of products to digitally automate and connect the entire agreement process

More recently, we’ve broadened our vision to help modernise the world’s systems of agreement: how organisations prepare, sign, act on and manage agreements.

That’s why today we’re so excited to announce the Docusign Agreement Cloud™, a suite of more than a dozen applications and more than 350 integrations covering the entire agreement process. With the Docusign Agreement Cloud, organisations of all sizes, across every industry, and around the world can do business faster, with less risk, lower costs, and better experiences for customers, partners, and employees. We’re equally excited to launch several new products with our recent product release that augment and complement our existing Docusign Agreement Cloud line-up. This release also includes several customer-requested enhancements to our existing products.



Over the past few years, many of you have asked for a document generation solution. Today, we’re launching Docusign Gen for Salesforce, our Salesforce-native, powered by Lightning app that lets your sales reps automatically generate polished, configurable agreements with a few clicks from Salesforce. Your reps can now seamlessly merge-in data from Salesforce, include or exclude content based on business rules, and generate editable Microsoft Word files so your reps, legal reviewers, and customers can edit with a tool they already know well. With the integration of Gen, eSignature, and Salesforce, automating your agreement process is now easier than ever—saving you time, increasing your reps’ productivity, and generating agreements with perfect polish.



Most of you know Docusign for electronic signing of documents that previously required wet-ink signatures. Now you can add a new type of agreement to Docusign’s coverage: “clickwraps” that capture customer consent for a variety of standard terms, such as website terms-and-conditions and privacy policies. Traditional clickwrap options are costly and can leave organisations open to legal risk. Enter Docusign Click, our new clickwrap offering that allows you to capture customer acceptance with a single click of a checkbox or button embedded in websites or mobile apps. Click reduces the risk of non-compliance with the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 and other legal standards, while allowing you to securely store, search, and manage clickwrap agreements in one central location.

If you’ve ever applied for a credit card or opened a bank account, chances are you’ve had to verify your identity in person, which can be a cumbersome process. However, as more transactions move online, companies want to digitise this identification step. That’s where Docusign ID Verification comes in. It automatically verifies a signer’s government-issued ID on any device, anywhere—for faster, easier and more secure agreement completion. ID Verification is built on our new Identify platform, an open API framework to connect any identification method to an agreement—so you can create your own custom solution.



In the two years since it launched, Docusign Payments has helped customers process over $100 million in one-time payments like rental deposits or donations. But what if you need to collect recurring payments or a particular future payment? That brings us to our newest enhancement, Saved Payment Methods. Customers can now save their signer’s payment method to their payment gateway for future charges, enabling recurring payments and future one-off charges.



Many organisations have signed agreements spread among various systems and servers. Some agreements will be in Docusign. Other legacy agreements may be in several different locations. Anytime you need to search through all your agreements, it will be costly in time and manual work.
