ICYMI: Tune into our on-demand CLM H1 2023 release webinar to learn about the latest CLM product family innovations.

Contract management is a team sport involving many stakeholders across the enterprise. It’s important to build smarter, easier and more trusted workflows for every team in your organization that touches agreements. Our latest innovations in the DocuSign CLM product family help bring everyone together while bolstering trust and security, accelerating time to value and streamlining operations.

In our latest webinar, we recapped the latest features and enhancements from the 2023 DocuSign Releases 1 & 2. Here’s an overview:

Bolstering trust and security in DocuSign CLM

Our customers host a wealth of sensitive and high-value agreement data in DocuSign CLM and admins need deeper visibility into user activity to safeguard the integrity of that data across systems.

With this in mind, we’re excited to announce DocuSign Monitor for CLM, providing customers with deeper, real-time visibility into their entire contract lifecycle. The integration enables admins to evaluate user behavior with rules-based alerts, investigate security incidents and proactively prevent unwanted risks. CLM admins will be alerted of suspicious user activity such as unauthorized access, deletion or downloading of documents, potential external brute-force attacks and logins from unknown locations.

We’ve also relaunched the Edit application for CLM to provide a modern authentication experience for CLM and Salesforce users, remain compatible with the latest Apple and Microsoft operating systems and simplify maintenance with seamless updates.

Accelerating time to value in Gen for Salesforce

We’re focused on providing greater flexibility to our document generation experiences while continuing to meet users where they are in the applications they use everyday.

Enhanced Generate and Send allows users to initiate the actions after document generation faster and allows admins to define sending experience preferences at the template level in Gen for Salesforce. Additionally, the new Gen Currency and Locale feature lets users quickly apply global currencies and country-specific formatting to templates and documents.

Streamlining operations in CLM Essentials

We’re also accelerating time to signature by improving agreement collaboration, review, and visibility across teams.

Conditional Logic in CLM Essentials will reduce the amount of time needed to customize agreement templates, make templates more flexible and ensure agreements remain compliant. With this new capability, admins can add conditional rules to document templates with a few clicks, allowing them to control which parts of an agreement will be hidden, shown or filled in with custom text based on the criteria they’ve specified.

Speaking of saving time, CLM Essentials users can also accelerate multi-party contract review with the latest Comments enhancement for real-time collaboration. Now, contract collaborators and stakeholders can see how many people are reviewing an agreement at once, and instantly review the latest editing activity with no need to refresh the page, providing them with the in-the-moment context they need to reach consensus faster.
