Former Parallels CHRO Michael Erisman Joins DocuSign as VP of Human Resources

SAN FRANCISCO, July 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DocuSign, Inc. (DocuSign®) announced that Michael Erisman has joined the company as Vice President of Human Resources, reporting to Chief Human Resources Officer, Peter Navin. Erisman joins DocuSign following five years as Chief HR Officer at Parallels where he headed the company's worldwide HR organization to attract, engage, and retain top industry talent while ensuring the company's culture, business decision making, and leadership systems were calibrated to empower sustained business growth.

Prior to his role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Parallels, Erisman served as Senior Director of Human Resources at Microsoft. There he led the HR agenda for the company's Marketing function, serving 8,000 marketers in more than 80 countries working on teams from every business unit, segment, and product group. Before his tenure at Microsoft, Erisman held HR leadership positions at a variety of companies including H&R Block, Qwest Communications, KRONE, PepsiCo, and General Electric Capital.

Currently, Erisman serves as an Advisory Board Member for both Amazing Hiring, an online service startup focused on improving the IT candidate recruitment process, and PTO Inc., an HR system based start-up that enables employees to trade, donate, and exchange accrued benefits for goods, services, and experiences. He is also an adjunct professor at the Seattle Pacific University (SPU) School of Business. Erisman graduated from SPU with a BA in Psychology and later attended Radford University where he received his MA in Industrial/Organizational psychology.
