Q: What do you do at DocuSign?
My role is to develop ecommerce in Europe. I am currently working a lot with pros and small businesses.
Q: What do your friends and family think you do?
Actually they don’t know a lot about eSignature. To be honest, they just think I am doing something on the Internet — something very cool.
Q: What is the best thing about working at DocuSign?
I’d say definitely working with people internationally. Our customers span across many different cultures and different locations. Doing this type of work keeps your mind wide open and helps you understand how other people can think all over the globe.
Q: How is that team different than other teams at DocuSign? Is there anything special about your team’s dynamic?
Our team is a real think tank, full of passionate, imaginative persons. We’re like a lab where we can test new things all the time.
Q: What is the best advice you can give to somebody starting a new job in your department at DocuSign?
Actually, one of my best friend is starting at DocuSign in two weeks. I told her, “You’re going to work a lot and will have to prioritize all the time. We’re growing very fast, so there’s going to be tons of interesting projects for you to tackle. And you will have a lot of fun.”
Q: What traits do you most admire in your colleagues at DocuSign?
We’re working all over the globe, and I really appreciate the consideration people take in regards to the fact that we’re in different time zones. People give you prompt responses even though we’re not all in the same room.
Q: What traits do you think your DocuSign colleagues most admire in you?
I am very calm and very active in the same time. I try to smooth over situations when people are stressed. I try to guide people through challenges, keep the momentum going, and be ready to help whenever possible.
Q: What is something most of your colleagues at DocuSign don’t know about you?
I’m an online hardcore gamer, and a long time ago, was part of one of the best French teams. I particularly love RPG games like World of Warcraft.
Q: What is your favorite snack from the DocuSign kitchen?
When I come to San Francisco, definitely the pistachios.
Q: Where is your favorite place to work or have a meeting at DocuSign and why?
In Paris, I’d say my favorite place to work is at a cafe down the street from our building.
Q: What is the best project you ever worked on at DocuSign and why?
There are two. The first one is MOMENTUM in London. I had a very small role, but it was really rewarding to interact with so many people that had only one goal: success! I learned a lot. The second would be my current role here. I really enjoy helping to think about other countries than US and bring a new point of view from Europe.
Q: If you were not working at DocuSign and could do anything in the world, what would you be doing/do next?
I would like to buy a castle, an old French one and redesign it completely from roof to ground, just because this is insane and incredible. I would also like to be a teacher, because I want to share my life experience and provide people with the best tools they can to start a life. Lastly, I’d want to be a writer – to make people dream a bit.
Q: What is the secret for you to happiness?
To enjoy the moment, whether it’s at work or during personal life. If you’re not taking pleasure in what you’re doing it’s much more difficult to be happy. Put less energy towards focusing on a future happiness and more towards appreciating the current moment.
