The DocuSign Winter ’16 Release is Here!

With a little help from our friend DocuFrosty, we are excited to tell you all about the goodies we have in store for you in this release. But just WinterRelease2because he is made out of snow doesn’t mean our product innovations here are coming to a freeze! Lets take a look into the winter wonderland of features we’ll be delivering in the DocuSign Winter ’16 Release.

Expanded Support for 21 CFR Part 11

Over the past year, life sciences customers have been using DocuSign product features to meet 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. We’ve been hearing from customers they’d like even more support in digitizing their key regulated documents.

So we got to work and are excited to announce we’ve enhanced our Part 11 module, expanding REST and SOAP APIs, and adding support for the New DocuSign Experience (sending), and new signing. These additional features will allow life sciences customers and partners to further integrate Part 11 workflows into clinical and quality systems.WinterRelease3

You Asked and We Happily Delivered

You’ve told us a number of capabilities you’d like to see in our product to further digitize your organization so this quarter, we’re delivering some innovative capabilities available to you now unless otherwise noted.

We’ve completely redesigned the Print Driver from the ground up. Now you can ‘print’ documents from your desktop applications into DocuSign to send or sign, saving time and extending the types of applications and files you use in DocuSign. Available in both the New & Classic DocuSign Experiences, and in 13 languages found here. (Available January)

Between now and January, we’re rolling out the Correct functionality that lets you edit documents, fields, and recipients for in-process documents in the New DocuSign Experience. Check out the walkthrough video here.

What if we told you now there is a simpler way to search for your completed envelopes? With Subject Line Merge Fields, you can automatically populate recipients’ names and email addresses into the envelope subject line of a powerform or template to find your envelopes quickly and easily.

Helping our customers’ stay compliant is always top of mind. So we worked with our friends at Dun & Bradstreet to create a customer credit risk insight and compliance tool. Now you can enable the “Verify with D&B” functionality within DocuSign for Salesforce, so your company can check, flag, and monitor potential financial and compliance risks for your customers and prospects.
