Note: This feature is currently supported on both iOS and Android devices – Windows Mobile users can download the attachment and access it from within the app.

To import a document from an email on your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), follow these steps:

  1. From your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch home screen, tap Mail.
  2. Tap the desired email.
  3. Tap and hold the document to import.
  4. Tap Open in DocuSign.
  5. Tap one of the following import options:

    • SIGN NOW: Sign and return the document. Select this option if you are the only signer. More info: Sign and return a document.
    • Get Signature: Send the document out for signature. Select this option if there are multiple signers. More info: Send a document for signature.
    • Save to Library: Save the document on the device for later use.

To import a document from an email on your Android device, follow these steps:

  1. From the email application, tap the desired email.
  2. Tap and hold the document to import.
  3. Tap DocuSign.

    Note: To make DocuSign the default application for opening documents, tap Always, otherwise, tap Just once.
  4. Tap one of the following import options:

    • SIGN NOW: Sign and return the document. Select this option if you are the only signer. More info: Sign and return a document.
    • Get a Signature: Send the document out for signature. Select this option if there are multiple signers. More info: Send a document for signature.
    • Add to Library: Save the document on the device for later use.
