This month we’re proud to celebrate the one-year anniversary of our strategic partnership with Microsoft! The long-term agreement has allowed us to drive greater integration with Microsoft products, and the opportunity to bring a native, end-to-end eSignature and DTM experience to more than 1 billion Office users around the world. Given this milestone, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on  the great success the partnership has yielded so far.

Partnership Growth and Expansion

We’re pleased to announce that our partnership with Microsoft has expanded. Given our success with the Office 365 team, our partnership will continue to extend across business groups – notably to Microsoft Dynamics. A new, deeper product integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online will bring improved automation and administration to the platform – driving greater productivity for sales teams around the globe. Since launching the Dynamics CRM integration, we’ve already received stellar feedback. According to Michael Drake, VP of Legends Global Sales for Atlanta Falcons New Stadium Project, “The DocuSign integration within Microsoft Dynamics CRM has transformed our sales process and added a high level of efficiency and security to our contract signing process. My only regret is that I wish I would have had DocuSign on my two previous New Stadium projects.”

Product Innovation

Over the past year, our team introduced a number of updates to DocuSign apps for Office 365 – including Word, Outlook, and SharePoint Online, and our brand-new integration with SharePoint 2013. Each update has brought a more intuitive, responsive and localized experience to users on both desktop and mobile devices. For a more seamless experience across every device, we’ve also added DocuSign to the new Office 365 App Launcher, so Office 365 users can access their DocuSign account more quickly. Working hand-in-hand with the Office 365 team, we’ve designed each of these innovations so users can move seamlessly between document creation, editing, storage and transaction management. And we’re proud to say that our team was recognized by the Microsoft team with the 2014 Microsoft Office and SharePoint App Developer Partner of the Year Award last May.

Customer Success

DocuSign for Office 365 received rave reviews from customers in the past year, with many touting the increased productivity and ROI that comes with eSignature and DTM technology. Notably, Microsoft is a longtime DocuSign customer, using the platform in more than 250 use cases around the world. But one of the best customer success stories came from retail travel franchise Expedia CruiseShipCenters, which rolled out DocuSign’s Office 365 solutions to nearly 200 franchisers across North America. Within months, franchise partners were completing agreements 10 times faster, resulting in an overall savings of $76 per agreement.

Another key success story (which we’ve just announced this week) came from the Special Olympics team. Special Olympics introduced DocuSign in many of its operations, and subsequently began using the platform to streamline its process for obtaining medical release forms from athletes. Special Olympics will be using DocuSign for Office 365 to process offer letters, contracts, check requests and other documents, saving between $20-$35 dollars per document processed, so Special Olympics can focus on its mission rather than chasing paper.

This week, DocuSign will demonstrate the latest apps and use cases at our MOMENTUM 2015 conference. We will also provide demos at Microsoft Convergence 2015, March 16-19 in Atlanta. If you’d like to learn more about DocuSign solutions for Microsoft, visit
