Next week more than 100,000 people will make pilgrimage to the largest software event of the year. This throng of Salesforce enthusiasts will converge in San Francisco at the Moscone Convention Center to take part in the 12th annual Dreamforce conference with Salesforce CEO Mark Benioff as host.
Visitors from more than 80 countries around the world will be seen scurrying around as they attend any of more than 1,400 educational sessions, walk the Cloud Expo where 400 exhibitors will merrily greet them, donate time to directly benefit charities, and last, but not least, attend an abundance of parties, after-parties, and after-after-parties.
More than 135,000 people are expected to register for Salesforce.com’s 12th annual Dreamforce conference and more than three million people are expected to join online.
What are you to do if you’re one of the tens of thousands who want to make the most of their journey? For one, you want to plan your trek through the exhibit hall before you get there. This jaw-dropping stat will no doubt drive the point home. To visit all 400 booths would take all 28 hours of time in which the #DF14 expo halls are open (spending just 4.2 minutes at each booth with no breaks – bio or otherwise).
Fortunately you’ll be planning ahead (right?) deciding in advance which of the exhibitors you want to visit most. If your goal is to increase your teams’ sales productivity, to deliver more leads, to shorten sales cycles, and to win more deals, I’ve got good news. We’ve scoured the expo maps and spotted the tools that can get the job done. And we’ve even noted which ones will be serving refreshments and offering prizes.
If you’re headed to Dreamforce, get your “Walking Trail of Must-See Tools Infographic” and do your feet a favor. Simply follow the walking trail stopping at the noted sign-posts and you’ll be sure to see and learn about the top sales and marketing solutions before you head back home.
What about the 1,400 sessions? The best place to start is the Dreamforce Agenda planner. Sessions fill up quickly so it’s imperative that you register ahead of time. Here are two sessions you should register for immediately:
