DocuSign Developer: Deep Dive Discussions – iOS SDK

The DocuSign Developer: Deep Dive Discussions video series covers ground from basic to complex DocuSign API use, as well as insights from our experts on best practices to take your organization from code to commerce.

In this episode, Kiran Kaza, Senior Director of Mobile Engineering, dives deep into DocuSign’s Native iOS Offline Templates SDK. With just a few lines of code, Kiran demonstrates how developers can easily integrate core DocuSign functionality directly into their iOS apps.

Kiran wraps up with a preview of exciting new SDK functionality driven primarily by developer feedback. For example, you can now add a variety of new fields to your documents, including radio buttons, date formula fields, and fields from Salesforce objects (pictured right). Want to further customize your user’s experience? No problem. With this new release, you get access to signing ceremony notifications, and you can suppress alerts directly through the SDK.

What’s next? Our upcoming 2.0 release will allow you to do even more offline, like creating an envelope from a document on your local device.
