DocuSign MOMENTUM 2012

All of us at DocuSign were thrilled to be part of our most exciting and invigorating annual event yet: DocuSign MOMENTUM. If you missed it, here are the highlights:

Day One:

We kicked off DocuSign MOMENTUM 2012 with a networking breakfast in the packed Partner Pavilion. Our sponsors (salesforce.com, Acumen Solutions, box, Alfresco, ExactTarget, Xactly, and Zuora) joined more than 500 attendees to start conversations and network even before our  general session.

In the general session, attendees got to see why DocuSign is a MUST HAVE in business today.  Our keynote speakers discussed “eSignature and Beyond,” including DocuSign’s Keith Krach, Tom Gonser, and Dustin Grosse; Meredith Schmidt of salesforce.com, Eric Dirst from DeVry Inc., and bestselling author Jeff Hayzlett, who helped attendees see why they must Adapt, Change or Die.

After the general session, there was more networking at the luncheon.

The afternoon breakout sessions featured customers showcasing the innovative ways they are using DocuSign to go beyond electronic signature. Customers presenting included BECU, DeVry, Extra Space Storage, Fidelity, First Data, Iron Mountain, and TD Ameritrade along with partner presentations from salesforce.com, Acumen Solutions and box. DocuSign experts offered insights and best practices to standing room-only audiences.

At the end of the day CSO Insights managing partner Jim Dickie captivated participants with an interesting challenge we all face in our increasingly digital environment: “How Do You Read Body Language In A Virtual World.”

DocuSign MOMENTUM attendees then stopped by each partner’s booth for a chance to win 1 of 4 cool tablets (iPad3, HTC Jetstream, Motorola XYBOARD and Samsung Galaxy).

Everyone celebrated our MOMENTUM at Ruby Skye with a private concert from “HOLLYWOOD’S” James Gang. The band extended its encore to a full set in response to the audience’s cheers.

Day Two:

Even after a late night, we had a packed morning general session. Roger Erickson, DocuSign’s VP of Customer Success, moderated the panel, “Transforming your Business” which included panelists Allan Lubitz of Mercury Insurance, Jon Zimmerman of Skilled Athlete and Anil Anthony of Tata Communications. It was amazing to hear how these companies (like many others at MOMENTUM) are leveraging DocuSign to finish business faster.

After the panel, DocuSign’s CTO Grant Peterson shared a captivating presentation that highlighted the nearly 70 ways we DocuSign everyday from HR onboarding to nondisclosures to sales contracts and much more.

A special treat on Thursday was our networking lunch – 32 floors above the city with sparkling views of San Francisco.

Here are a few of my favorite quotes from DocuSign MOMENTUM:

“It was a really great experience. I was interested when I got there and a believer at completion.   The content was informative and it was great to     meet members of your team as well as other conference participants.”
“The article in Forbes shows that your enthusiasm is reflected in your product and the future is very optimistic for DocuSign.”
“I was swept away by the DocuSign tidal wave that was MOMENTUM 2012.”
“It’s obvious you guys are the pros in this space and you are leading the way. Your customers are also leaders in how they are DocuSigning – and this was obvious from the presentations.”

It was a MOMENTUS event and I can’t wait for DocuSign MOMENTUM 2013 (May 2013).
