Q: What do you do at DocuSign?
Justin: I am a Senior Product Trainer. I teach the DocuSign for Administrators and DocuSign for Salesforce Administrators courses, as well as create content and consult on other educational projects.
Fred: I am the technical trainer on the product training team. I teach our developer focused training as well as our Admin classes.
Scott: I also teach the DocuSign for Administrators and DocuSign for Salesforce Administrators course and create content for our courses as well.
Q: What do your friends and family think you do?
Justin: They think I train people how to use DocuSign, which is basically true.
Fred: They think I’m reprogramming the warp core to align the positrons.
Scott: Travel to exotic places like Columbus, OH… but beyond the travel; I’m not sure anyone actually has any clue of what I actually do…
Q: What is the best thing about working at DocuSign?
Justin: Having access to the break room which is full of snacks and beverages.
Fred: Working with my coworkers to make a great product that people enjoy using.
Scott: The people on the team make it fun to come into the office everyday.
Q: How is that team different than other teams at DocuSign? Is there anything special about your team’s dynamic?
Justin: I would say our team is an interesting mix of nerdiness, intelligence, comedy, and personalities. It’s one of those combinations that shouldn’t work, but does. I really enjoy working with them.
Q: What is the best advice you can give to somebody starting a new job in your department at DocuSign?
Justin: High expectations = Hard work, but you will have a great time while you’re here.
Fred: To enjoy everything that we do. It’s a privilege to get to tell people about DocuSign.
Q: What traits do you most admire in your colleagues at DocuSign?
Justin: Perseverance, loyalty, and excellence.
Scott: I admire my teammates ability to work hard but have fun while getting the task at hand done.
Q: What traits do you think your DocuSign colleagues most admire in you?
Justin: My lack of sarcasm.
Scott: I think there could be 2 things… willingness to do whatever is asked (especially when it has to do with blog posts) and my sense of humor… I’m pretty sure that’s the only reason I’m still around.

Q: What is something most of your colleagues at DocuSign don’t know about you?
Justin: I love watching romantic comedies.
Scott: I am pretty much an open book so I’m not sure what my teammates don’t know about me…
Fred: I won the dance contest on a Caribbean cruise.
Q: Where is your favorite place to work or have a meeting at DocuSign and why?
Scott: Our kitchen. There are snacks and drinks and we have a view of Puget Sound that doesn’t get old.
Q: If you were not working at DocuSign and could do anything in the world, what would you be doing/do next?
Justin: Be in a band.
Scott: Realistic Answer: I would probably be teaching/coaching High School
Fantasy Land: I would be a starting MLB pitcher… work once every 5 days… that sounds pretty nice to me… Yes there is pressure involved in that job but I love competition and think that would be exciting.

Q: What is the secret for you to happiness?
Justin: Expect the unexpected, then enjoy.
Scott: Don’t be afraid to unplug every once in awhile. It’s important to have separation between work life and home life.
