Orbitz Worldwide is a leading global online travel company that uses innovative technology to enable leisure and business travelers to search for, plan and book a broad range of travel products and services.  To support their main brands and private-label travel services, Orbitz is continuously creating and managing tens of thousands of contracts with the suppliers they represent.  We spoke with Suzanne Maso, Legal Operations Manager at Orbitz about how DocuSign for Office 365 will help them process contracts more rapidly and in less time.

What was the primary reason that Orbitz chose the DocuSign solution?

Ease of use. We have a small number of authorized signers and they have a lot of contracts to process. Anything we can do to reduce the friction to get contracts executed more rapidly while maintaining integrity of those contracts is going to be well received.  DocuSign for Office 365 is just the solution.

Describe how Orbitz plans to use DocuSign?

We will be using DocuSign for any type of agreement that we possibly can.  Typically, the agreements we handle include Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s), sales and service agreements and Statements of Work (SOW) with our vendors.

Tell us what the early expectations are for the DocuSign solution?

The expectation is that through its integration with Office 365, we’re going to see high user adoption because the DocuSign signature process is incorporated right into our staffs’ workflow.

What aspect of the DocuSign solution delighted you the most?

That our users can access the DocuSign service the way that works best for them is exactly what we need. Our users can get contracts signed on the Web, in Office 365, and through the mobile apps—it’s fabulous.

What advice would you give to someone else considering DocuSign?

I highly recommend that you review the features of the DocuSign solution and use templates you already have to see how DocuSign for Office 365 can reduce steps in your current processes.
