Secure DocuSign Electronic Signature
An electronic signature created
by the DocuSign system for a particular person which they can
use to sign documents. DocuSign Electronic Signatures are unique
to the person, solely under the control of the person, and when
affixed to a document cannot be changed.
Send Activation
An email message which is sent
from DocuSign to a new user in order to activate their account.
Sender Account
Account type that allows users
to send, receive and sign documents.
Sent Items
Contains envelopes in which your
actions are complete, but are still waiting for others to complete
their actions
Sign
To insert your e-signature in a
document and to complete the signing process by clicking the ‘sign’ button.
Signing Certificate
A document associated with every
DocuSign envelope which provides proof of the signing process
to all parties in the transaction. The certificate establishes
who, what, when, and how documents were signed.
Stick-eTabs™
DocuSign patented tabs indicating
where signatures and initials
are needed. When a signer executes a document, the X,Y coordinates
of each Stick-eTab are recorded and time stamped.

Web Browser
Web browsers, such as Internet
Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, are software programs that navigate
the Web and access text, graphics, hyperlinks, audio, video, and
other multimedia.
