DocuSign Names Bob DeSantis as Vice President of Sales

Veteran Sales Leader Brought in to Insure More Businesses “DocuSign It”

SEATTLE, WA (June 06, 2007) – DocuSign, the leading Web-based electronic signature service, today announced the appointment of Bob DeSantis to the position of Vice President of Sales. Ken Moyle, who had been serving as both Vice President/General Counsel and interim Vice President of Sales for DocuSign will return to his full-time role as General Counsel.

DeSantis brings over 20 years of sales experience in the technology industry to DocuSign. He most recently served as regional Vice President of Sales for the Western United States at Procuri, Inc., a global provider of On Demand Supply Management solutions. At Procuri, DeSantis was responsible for leading sales efforts for Fortune 1,000 customers including Expedia, Apple, Google, Toyota, Yahoo, Weyerhaeuser and Sun Microsystems. Previous positions include Vice President of Sales and Customer Support at ImageX, Vice President of Sales and Customer Support at FedEx Kinko’s, Sales Director for the Western United State and Mexico at DuPoint Imaging Systems, and product management roles with both Analog Devices and Eastman Kodak.

“Throughout my career I’ve always focused on working with progressive companies that offer true value to their customers, and DocuSign is clearly one of those companies,” said Bob DeSantis, Vice President of Sales at DocuSign. “I know how frustrating it is to not be able to close deals in a timely manner due to poor fax transmission quality or the time it takes to mail documents and contracts back and forth using snail-mail. I look forward to working with businesses that want to close deals faster, eliminate the costs and delays of paper, and improve customer service.”

As companies and individuals increasingly move to web-based services, the traditional pen and paper method of obtaining signatures is disappearing in many industries. As a web-based service, DocuSign offers a fast, secure and legal means to obtain signatures for documents, help customers close business faster, and save the cost and time involved with printing, mailing and faxing documents. DocuSign has already surpassed the 3 million signature event mark and has a goal of 10 million signature events by Earth Day 2008. Customers who are reaping the benefits of DocuSign’s easy to use eSignature technology include such industry-leaders as AMICA, Coldwell Banker, Expedia, Fidelity Title, First Magnus, Land America Financial Group, Weyerhaeuser and Worldspan.

“We are very pleased to add Bob DeSantis to our management team, he has an outstanding track record of helping companies understand the value of web based technology solutions.” said Matthew J. Schiltz, CEO and President of DocuSign. “Our company is growing at a rapid pace because our customers are experiencing terrific results from signing legally binding contracts quickly over the web with DocuSign. Bob will focus on continuing our strong growth through delivering DocuSign’s strategic value: eliminate paper costs, increase revenues, and accelerate deals getting done.”
DeSantis holds an MBA from Temple University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.
