Step 1
From the DocuSign home page, click the “New Envelope” button or select the “Send” tab to begin the sending process.
DocuSign makes it easy to send and sign documents. These guides make it even easier.

From the DocuSign home page, click the “New Envelope” button or select the “Send” tab to begin the sending process.
From the "Prepare Envelope" section, click "Browse from my Computer" to upload a document from your computer. Once you have found the document you want to upload, click "Choose."

Add recipients by typing their email addresses and names, then click "Add Recipient."
Tip: To re-order recipients, you can click and drag the handles next to the order number or simply update the order number directly.
An email subject will be added by default when you upload a document. You can edit this subject and add a message to all recipients by filling in the fields provided.
To add a note to a specific recipient, select that person’s name from the “Add a Note” dropdown and click the “Add” button.
To allow Free Form Signing by the recipients simply click the “Send Now” button at the top of the page.
To create a Guided Signing experience, as well as review the document, click the “Next” button and follow steps 6 - 8 below.
From the "Add Tags" section, click and drag tags from the left column (beneath the recipient's name) onto the document where information is needed for each recipient. You may add multiple tags per recipient. To switch recipients, just click their name.

Click “Next” to review your document in “Preview” mode. Click on the individual recipients in the left column to see which fields they are required to fill in and in what order.
To send the document, click the “Send Now” button.
