Since our 9.1 release of the latest electronic signature and electronic contract execution (ECE) services, we’ve seen lots of questions come through the pipeline.

We hosted a town hall for our users to experience the new electronic signature and online contract execution functionality of the DocuSign 9.1 release.

Tom Gonser, our VP of Product Strategy, covered changes in sending & signing as well as exciting new features. For those of you who weren’t able to make the town hall, we’ve made the recording available online.

It’s too soon to completely let the cat out of the bag, but I have to tell you, some of the stuff in the spring DocuSign release (version 9.1) is REALLY cool, so here is a little sneak peek into what we’re doing with electronic signature and online contract execution…

You asked, we listened – version 9.1 delivers one of the most sought after features by the DocuSign user community . Since users of DocuSign began raving about the service, many have wanted the ability to customize their electronic signature. Well in 9.1, you can. You can actually create a few different versions of your signature so that you can e-sign your ‘serious’ documents, like those from the bank, with your full legal name, and the less important documents with your ‘simple name’. You can even upload your handwriting to create your own ‘very custom’ and secure e-signature. There is more, but I’ll stop there. I think you will be really impressed with the new 9.1 release.
