Changing the way the World Thinks About eSignature Services: Document Markup

Five years ago, we were the first to make electronic signatures easy. Now, the DocuSign Spring '10 release provides new capabilities to expand your use of DocuSign to new types of transactions, to streamline new workflows and to remove paper from even more of your business—saving you more money and making you even more competitive.

For the first time ever, signers can negotiate critical elements of agreements on the fly, just like they do with paper. However, we've eliminated the problems with paper negotiations— the hard to read copies, the scribbles everywhere. DocuSign keeps everything secure, neat, and tracked. Now signers can 'white out' and initial small changes digitally. Any changes made are tracked and the system asks everyone to initial any changes automatically.

Collaborate to Close: Come to Terms With DocuSign Collaboration Tools

Enable last minute negotiation with DocuSign's new Collaboration services. Enable signers to make those last minute minor tweaks - a new closing date, a change in delivery address and do so with the assurance that the world's most watchful transaction management system will make sure everyone initials to accept the changes so there are no surprises. If you've ever dealt with a fax of a fax of a fax, you will appreciate the speed, cleanliness and security of DocuSign Collaboration.

You'll have collaboration tools such as Document Markup. Document Markup allows your recipients to propose changes to your documents and you can track all changes in the DocuSign History file.

Fine tune the details of your agreements online:

  • Control the revision cycles
  • Turnaround documents more quickly
  • Easily spot the proposed changes
  • Keep your documents tidy while retaining all of the history

Sending with Document Markup Enabled:
Select the Markup setting on the message dialog.

Editing documents as a recipient:
Click the Markup Document button.

Confirm you want to markup the documents. Other recipients will be notified of your changes and asked to initial next to the changed text.

Use the Markup tool to remove, add or edit text in the documents. Initial your changes and complete signing.

Notification of Edited Documents:
Everyone who has signed will be notified that the documents have been edited.

Confirmation of Edits in Signed Documents:
Signers can review and initial the changes, edit the documents by selecting the Markup tool, or decline the documents.
