Posted March 18, 2010

Have you ever sent a document to your signers and needed to collect information from them, along with their electronic signatures? This video will show you how to create a secured field in DocuSign to collect information from your signers.

Creating a SecureField in DocuSign's eSignature Service

  1. Select “Account” then “Manage SecureFields” from the menu bar in DocuSign
  2. Click the “Add” button on the Manage SecureFields page
  3. To create a radio button to guide your signers' choices, select “Radio Button” from the Type list.
  4. Enter a group name, remembering to use the same group name for a set of radio buttons on your document.
  5. Click the “Required” check box to make sure your signers make a choice from among your radio buttons in a group
  6. Click “Save”
