Did you know that while DocuSign offers its customers the ability to get documents signed with electronic signature, we also enable you to get MORE?

More what? More information! With Custom Fields, you can capture complete, accurate data from your signers. Custom Fields can be configured to require that data be entered to meet the requirements you set.

If you've already created a secured field, you'll find them in Custom section of the Envelope Tagging screen.

To modify and save a custom tag: drag a data field and click the hand icon to edit the property.

To find the attributes you want: you can specify whether text or numbers are allowed.

To specify a specific pattern of text and or numbers: you can use the regular expression, or “Regex Pattern” field.

Click the “Save as Custom” button if you want to use the custom field again.

For more information, consult the online users' guide. The video below will show you what creating a custom field looks like in the DocuSign console.
