How-To Streamline Sales With DocuSign for Salesforce

Did you know that you could send any document for electronic signature with DocuSign for Salesforce from within Salesforce? With DocuSign for Salesforce, you can:
- Send from any Salesforce tab
- Track contracts sent
- Get real-time status
- Collect data in documents
- Update Salesforce records AUTOMATICALLY
All without ever leaving Salesforce! It’s as easy as sending a Salesforce email!
The video above will show you how to use Salesforce Real Time Quotes with eSign from DocuSign!
- When you’re ready to send a quote, click the “Create PDF” button to create a quote.
- Salesforce will take the information for the quote and build a sales document.
- Then, send the quote directly to be signed electronically with DocuSign or saved to the quote.
- To send a quote for eSignature, click the “Send With DocuSign” button.
- Edit the email message to customize it for your recipients.
- Click “Send” to send your quote for electronic signature.
In Salesforce, the opportunity status is updated to reflect that the document was sent. The status of the document is also tracked in the DocuSign status.
What do the recipients of a document sent via DocuSign for Salesforce see?
- Your recipient receives an email with your subject and message.
- He or she clicks “Review” to begin signing.
- He or she agrees to conduct business electronically and creates an electronic signature.
- He or she clicks “Start” to begin the guided e-signing process.
- He or she will be guided to each location on the document that requires an eSignature.
- Once all of the electronic signatures are placed, he or she can elect to “Stay and Review” or “Complete Signing.”
- To acknowledge his or her eSignatures and return the documents to the sender, he or she selects the “Complete Signing” button.
He or she can then download his or her documents or create an account.
You can use Salesforce to track the status of your documents sent for electronic signature in your DocuSign Status list in your Opportunities Record.
Dashboards help you manage your dealflow – how many deals are being sent out, who is sending them, and how quickly they get signed.
