How-To Create SecureFields for Your Signers

When you're gathering electronic signatures from your clients, you may also need to gather additional information. DocuSign Electronic Signature Service provides functionality that enables you get the information you need, quickly and easily.

Learn how to collect information from your signers using DocuSign's SecureFields:

  1. Select “Account” then “Manage SecureFields” from the menu in DocuSign.
  2. Click the “Add” button on the “Manage SecureFields” page.
  3. Create a Radio Button to guide your signers' choices, enter a group name and remember to use the same group name for a set of radio buttons on your document.
  4. Select “Radio Button” from the type list. Click the “Required” check box to make sure your signers select a Radio Button from a group.
  5. Click “Save” - you've created a set of SecureFields to manage information gathering from your signers!
