Sometimes, you may need additional documentation from your clients. DocuSign enables your clients to upload requested attachments to the DocuSign envelope. Using DocuSign's electronic signature solution, you can seamlessly acquire all your necessary e-signatures and documents from your recipients within seconds.
To eSign and review a request for attachment:
- Open your invitation to sign from your email, and click the review button.
- The DocuSign electronic signature service opens a secure window for you, in which you can agree to the consumer disclosure statement and adopt your electronic signature with two clicks of a mouse.
- Continue to approve the document electronically and click the start button to navigate to the stick-e-tabs to eSign your documents.
- Review the attachment request note, which provides a description of and instructions about the requested attachment.
- Click the signer attachment tab to make the submit attachment window appear.
- Provide the requested attachment by uploading it from your computer or faxing it. This example demonstrates how to upload from your computer.
To upload a document from your computer:
- Select the file upload radio button.
- Click the browse button to navigate and select your document.
- Click the submit button.
- DocuSign uploads the requested attachment to your DocuSign envelope, which you can then review.
- Click the “complete signing” button to send the document with attachment to the requestor.
It's that easy! Take a look below to watch a short video on that explains how to eSign a document for electronic signing with an additional request for attachments:
