DocuSign’s Electronic Signature Solution Named Best App for Salesforce at Dreamforce Global Gathering 2009

We’re on a roll – with so much excitement about DocuSign and electronic signature, we’ve got smiles on our faces as big as this next announcement:

Yesterday, DocuSign won the Best App for Salesforce Appy Award at the Salesforce.com Dreamforce 2009 Global Gathering.

DocuSign won the voting competition from among over 3,000 companies who partner with Salesforce.com on the AppExchange. DocuSign CEO Matthew J. Schiltz accepted the award from Salesforce.com Chairman and CEO Mark Benioff and Salesforce.com President Jim Steel after a keynote address by General Colin L. Powell. DocuSign is honored by the award and the impact that our solutions are having for joint customers of DocuSign and Salesforce.com.

What a great win for DocuSign! A special “Thank You” to all of our customers who make us successful by sharing your customer stories and providing us with valuable feedback that enables us to continually improve our electronic signature services.

DocuSign launched two new electronic signature products at Dreamforce this week — DocuSign for Salesforce 2.0 and DocuSign for Salesforce CRM Real-Time Quotes. Both of these products were showcased in break-out sessions yesterday.

Salesforce.com chose DocuSign as the electronic signature solution partner to launch Real-Time Quotes to Salesforce.com customers. Ken Cavallon presented information about Real-Time Quotes to a packed room with Salesforce.com Senior Product Manager Tyler Ziemann at 1:30 p.m. DocuSign customers Mike Machado of Yamaha and Brian Frank of LinkedIn discussed their successes with DocuSign for Salesforce with DocuSign founder Tom Gonser at 2:45 p.m.

Approximately 19,000 people registered for the annual Salesforce.com conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. More than 3,000 of the attendees came to talk to us at our booth, #1118, and at our break out sessions.
