How To ESIGN: Use and Create Form Fields for Address and Phone Number

Posted August 10, 2009

You need the ability to customize your electronic signature solution to collect the data you want from your signers. How can you do that with DocuSign?

Custom fields can be configured for address and phone number, which enables you to standardize the data format. For example, you can ask your signers for phone number that follow this pattern: '(nnn)nnn-nnnn' in which 'n' are the phone digits. You can also specify the format (letters or numbers) the data should be in. Now, you can ensure that you get the information you need from your signers!

The online user guide will provide you more detail for creating custom fields in DocuSign. Take a minute (or 52 seconds) to watch the video that takes you through, step-by-step, the creation of custom fields for electronic contract execution.
