How To… Send a Document with Electronic Signature to Another Agent

Part of the beauty of using electronic signature and online contract execution is that once your clients have all signed, you can send the completed documents to the other agent using “CC” aka carbon copy.

Here’s an example of when you might want to use “CC”:

You want to submit a counter-offer via DocuSign. If you “CC” the other real estate agent on the transaction, DocuSign will send the documents to the other real estate agent after your clients have all signed.

The other agent creates a new envelope, uploads the counter-offer document, adds their signers, and CC’s YOU.

Once the other agent’s clients accept the the counter-offer and affixes their esignatures, you’ll get the final signed copy.
