How To... Send a Document with Electronic Signature to Another Agent

Part of the beauty of using electronic signature and online contract execution is that once your clients have all signed, you can send the completed documents to the other agent using "CC" aka carbon copy.
Here's an example of when you might want to use "CC":
You want to submit a counter-offer via DocuSign. If you "CC" the other real estate agent on the transaction, DocuSign will send the documents to the other real estate agent after your clients have all signed.

One of the "killer" features of DocuSign's electronic signature and online contract execution service is sequential signing. If you're a consultant, a broker or perhaps a realtor, sequential signing will help you get signatures in the order you need them.

Let's look at a hypothetical electronic signature process without sequential signing:

DocuSign Joins the RealTown Community

Before we discuss how ESIGN and electronic contract execution fit into real estate, let's understand the RealTown community. In 1995, those responsible for RealTown submitted their training and publishing plan to the National Association of Realtors, including the plan for a Real Estate Portal for Realtors. Launched in 2007, RealTown provides the real estate community with community tools to forward the vision of the four C's: Content, Context, Community and Culture.
