I really appreciate you passing the word around, it is incredibly difficult to educate people to trust this new technology, the sooner we all get it, the better it’ll be for all of us. The savings are incredible important in many aspects.

Your article states that it’s the lenders not FHA/HUD that are rejecting real estate contracts with electronic signatures. This isn’t true. I work for a mortgage bank in phoenix and we have recently had case binders rejected by our local home ownership center because there were electronic signatures present real estate contracts. We have been told that electronic signatures would not be accepted.

An — if you haven’t already, post this on ActiveRain. We need as much exposure to this issue. Believe it or not, only a small percentage of agents use electronic signatures — so we need to educate as many people as possible so that THEY will carry on the fight to get electronic signatures universally accepted.

Thanks. This is very helpful!
I hope the mortgage indusrty pays attention. I still find it frusterating to have to explain to real estate agents what an electronic signature is.
Not sure how people can live without DocuSign.
